Project : KUMI Building Type : Commercial (Restaurant - Renovation) Location : Sathorn 10, Bangkok Area : 150 sq.m. KUMI, the Mediterranean-cuisine-style restaurant that locates at soi Sathorn 10. KUMI means “ ten ” in Swahili language. The owner’s intention is to name the restaurant after the location. The design focused on expressing mood and tone through the menu and food presentation, also designed to be warm-welcoming and respecting everyone. The outstanding decoration is the background wall where painted the names of the restaurant in many different languages, intend to communicate with customers in every culture.
