## Senior AI Platform Engineer (Freelance, Remote — UTC +07 to +09)

### What You Will Build
- Data platform: Cosmos DB, Blob/GCS, Azure AI Search, Vertex AI.
- LLM layer: model selection, RAG pipelines, prompt iteration (with an external prompt engineer).
- Workflow/orchestration in Python 3.12 (Pydantic) & TypeScript; develop UI mocks using FastHTML.
- Public API (REST/GraphQL) with automated CI/CD via GitHub Actions.
- Deliver on milestones, run brief daily 1-to-1 syncs, and assume full ownership of the AI-assisted code you ship.

### Must-Haves
- 6+ years professional software engineering with deep Python mastery.
- Cloud-native build & deploy experience (Azure or GCP).
- Infrastructure-as-Code: ARM, Bicep, Terraform.
- Strong Git discipline, automated testing, and rigorous validation of LLM output.
- Fluent English; German optional. German mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work independently are expected.
- Secure development hygiene (MFA, encrypted local environment).

### Nice-to-Haves
- RAG architectures, Azure/Google AI Studio, Claude 4 or GPT-4o.
- Kubernetes, vector DBs, OpenTelemetry.
- Solid TypeScript for lightweight UIs.

### How We Work
- Async-first with sync touchpoints every 1–3 days (MS Teams / Slack / WhatsApp).
- You choose your working hours; hit the dates.
- Separate developer cloud keys issued; MFA mandatory.
- All deliverables are work-for-hire—full IP transfers to us upon payment.
- Cloud usage covered by us; you bring hardware and connectivity.
- Full time commitment preferred but we will make exemptions for gifted people.
- Billing: weekly time allocations, invoiced weekly.
